V-Star Laser

We have recently added an amazing new laser made by Cynosure called the V-Star. It is a pulsed dye laser that is especially effective in treating any blemishes on your skin that are red in color. We most commonly use it for those bothersome facial spider veins mostly seen around the nose. It is also very effective in the treatment of rosacea, old scars, and acne. The treatments only last a few seconds to minutes, are nearly painless, and results are often immediate. Some treatments result in small bruised areas that quickly resolve over a couple of days. Hylaform is an injectable form of Hyaluronic acid which is a main component of youthful skin. A company knows as Biomatrix has patented a process to produce this great product with which we are very excited. The product restores a youthful and sexy appearance to lips with almost zero chance of bumps or allergic reaction. It can quickly fill in wrinkles around the mouth and decrease the depth of naso labial folds. With our technique of nerve block before the procedure, the injection is pain free! Although this product lasts between 3 and 6 months, most of our patients don't mind as the procedure is easily tolerated and the results are fantastic!
