Assessments — tests that can reveal personal characteristics that we may not even be aware of — are an important tool in coaching and team-building, getting right at the heart of the matter.

The first step in assessment is self-awareness. We need to learn more about what motivates us, what triggers certain behaviors and how we interact with others. The next step is to understand the behavior of others to successfully adapt to the differences among co-workers.
